Overboard Sailor may have been Killed By Sharks

On either the USS Haynsworth (DD-700) or the USS Stormes (DD-780) we had a QM named Livengood that jumped overboard and we think the sharks got him according to the carriers helicopter. I can't remember which ship it was. I was the SM in the whale boat for man overboard.
Does anyone else have any additional information? |
